Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Cary, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across North Carolina run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Cary is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Cary follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We went on a slow night, but the food was excellent, the servers were attentive and helpful, and the restaurant was clam and well decorated. We got the grill-at-table Korean BBQ all-you-can-eat, and it was delicious. There are also tables for standard service. If you have a hankering for Korean BBQ, this is a great place to fulfill that need.

Great and authentic Korean cuisine. Vegetable bibimbap was hot, fresh, and tasty. Kimchijeon (kimchi pancake) was slightly burnt but it was still. scrumptious. The banchans (side dishes) were excellent. Japchae (sweet potato glass noodles) was sweet and savory too. Service was friendly and fast. Atmosphere is clean, calm, and comfortable. Plenty of parking out front. Vegan friendly. Would love to explore more of the menu

A Hidden Gem for Korean BBQ! The meat was incredibly fresh, juicy, and full of flavor. Every bite was tender and packed with delicious smoky goodness. The service was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. They checked on us regularly and were always happy to help. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for genuine Korean cuisine and top-notch service. I will definitely be coming back!

Visited the restaurant on a Wednesday 30 minutes before closing. Even though we weren’t able to get a table of 10 (the place was empty), the waiters were friendly and carrying a smile. Food was fresh and delicious. Atmosphere was alright but not anything special.

We were planning to dine at one of my favorite Korean restaurants, but found out they’re closed on Tuesdays. So I searched nearby and discovered Buldaegi, and I’m so glad we did! The photos on their website don’t do it justice. The dishes came out even more beautiful, colorful, and fresh in person. The service was excellent, and the overall experience was fantastic. I’ll definitely be coming back with friends and family!
